After you get it done:
Buy a bottle of saline solution (its usually used for people that have contacts)
each morning and night for about three months, take a shot glass, fill it about half way with the saline solution, lean forward and put your belly piercing on the shot glass, and then stand straight up and lean back, a bed is easiest. and kinda shake the shot glass around a bit, this cleans it out and prevents it from getting infected. you shouldn't have any problems with it if you do that.
just make sure that where ever you get it pierced, they are credited, and use clean equipment!

AshleighBaby18 answered Sunday February 24 2008, 7:59 pm: ok when i got it done i layed down and that is very usual. and it did not hurt me AT ALL. and most other ppl i no say that it doesnt hurt either. there has been about 1 out of 10 ppl who said itt did. i would recomend being careful. it takes a while to heal and it does get infected before it heals so dont take it out because you get scared. i font no any websites at the moment but all you really have to do is go to google and type in navel peircings and you will get tonz of info about it! hope you take the advice!
