Age difference concern

Question Posted Thursday February 21 2008, 5:48 pm

I'm 17 and she's 15. We have thought about sex but havent really decided on anything yet. I live in Utah and i was wondering if there were any age differences or limits that might make this illegal for us. I tried to look at Utah law stuff but it all just seems too confusing and shady. So somebody please clear it up for me. Would it be legal if we decided to have sex? if not, why not?

Sorry to tell you this but in Utah the girl has to be 16 and the guy has to be 18. Don't worry it's just one more year

This gives you the legal age of consent in all 50 states.

In Utah, it would be 16 for the girl, and 18 for the guy.
