im going to college in the next 2 years and im going to major in business. i was talking to my cousin the other day and shes also majoring in business and said that it was required to have a presentation class or a class where you have to speak in front of everybody. is this true? because im so bad at speaking in front of everyone

Actually that is not part of the major but part of the basic nesscessities when you first attend college. I am also very afraid of speaking publicly but turns out it is not as bad as I thought. You do a maximum of maybe 4 speeches the entire semester. Usually you get to pick what you want to speak on. If you speak on something you are very familiarly with then speaking in front of the class is a little easier. Some tricks to relaxing yourself is stretching before you give a speech.
