Friends with a guy

I have a crush on this guy at my school and I guess we are friends but I just want to know how to make friends with guys, I mean I can hardly talk to boys. I hang out with a group of girls and like only one boy in our group. So I just want advice on talking to guys. I can hardly talk to my crush and I am shy. Well I'm not shy with my friends. I am really loud and outgoing but thats how I really am with people I know. I know a lot of guys but we don't talk very much. I just would like some advice on that. Thanks!

Look i have the same exact problem you do. Im very outgoing, but when it comes to guys i am horribly shy...so what i did was i hung out with cousins...and boy relatives my age...so that gave me some input on "guy info"....and you could also hang out with this group of girls and talk to that guy when they r there....that will take some nervousness off knowing that friends r near by. hope i helped out a little...♥advice1551♥

Lots of people are shy when they're not surrounded by supporting friends. What you have to do is tell the boy friend you hang out with is to bring his friends. If you start hanging out with masses of people, you'll slowly become close with them. This is a good opportunity to make friends both guys and girls. As for your crush? Just ask how their weekend was or something.. and talk about what's going on. Like, it's class time? Talk about how wacked-out your teacher is. Something really crazy happen to you lately? Tell them! Did you see some girl trip down the stairs? Talk to them about it! Guys like to hear that girls have a sense of humor, even if it is stupid. Especially if it's stupid, actually, considering boys your age are immature. So good luck, just be casual cool and you'll have it!
