Skateboard Painting

Question Posted Friday February 15 2008, 10:35 pm

Hi, I wanted to paint my skateboard but was wondering if I can still ride it and everything once I have, or will the paint just scratch off? Is there anything I can put over it to preserve the paint when I slide down rails and stuff?

the paint will definitely come off your board if you do a lot of grinding and stuff like that. however, you can try putting a clear protective paint over whatever you put on there, which might provide some protection. also, try using outdoor spray pain, it's more durable against rain and stuff so it will hold up better.
