so, i want to be an actress, and next year, i'll be in high school, and im for sure taking drama. what other steps should i take besides taking drama to help me?

Trust me, it's a must to do if you want to be an actress. That's actually what most actors and actress' did in high school.
Forensics is not science. It's public speaking. With different categories. A way to train your skills and enhance in a challenging and fun way. It's competitive, and there are many tournaments for the National Forensiuc Leauge. Google it and Check out there site
