cell phone

Question Posted Sunday February 10 2008, 7:48 pm

How do you delete a "protected file" off of a Sony Ericsson phone? Every time I try I get the message: i Protected file- cannot be deleted.
Is there any way to get around this? thanks a million for anyone who can help

never had a sony ericsson phone, but wouldnt the file be protected for a reason? anyways, you could get around it, if your phone has bluetooth. get someone with a laptop or PDA that has bluetooth and supports obex file transfer. connect it to your phone, and delete it from the list using the laptop/pda. it should work.

sorry...but there is no way to get around this.
I have a S.E and I was going through the same problems. Whatever you try- you won't be able to delete it.

Sorry!
