Okay so about a week and a half ago, I got dental surgery. I had 5 teeth yanked, so for the past week, I've been eating soft foods. A few days ago I started eating regularly again. But the day I started, I almost threw up. Like I had a little in my mouth and I swallowed it quickly and washed out my mouth. Today, just about 5 minutes ago, it happened again, and it tasted like the coco puffs I had for breakfast. But it still tasted bad. But what's going on?? Why do I just all of a sudden throw up in my mouth?

Maybe your throwing up because your stomach got so used to the soft foods. If i was you i would just stay away from bread, and try to avoid milk for a few days. Maybe try saltine crackers, or soup. Then step it up a little bit from there..
But again, it could be, (not saying it is) a reaction to the medicine they gave you before pulling the teeth.

Stick to bland, "light" things for now, like cereal instead of bagels. Eat in small quantities & gradually re-introduce normal foods a little at a time. If they gave you pain meds or whatnot after the surgery (which I hope for you sake that they did =P) a side effect of nausea/stomach upset is more than likely.
If after a few days you're still feeling like throwing up, invest in some Alka Seltzer or Pepto Bismol & give your dentist a call. But I'm sure you'll be fine =)
