uisforukelele answered Friday February 8 2008, 6:50 pm: it's a common name, and if you say it enough it sounds weird. other than that, most people have name stereotypes- a lot of people think that names like brittany, courtney, or lindsey are preppy names. kind of the same deal. killerface answered Friday February 8 2008, 12:04 pm: Because people tend to stereotype each other by their names. They tend to think of Bob as some overweight, smelly, pants not big enough/too big so they slide down to show your dirty whitey tighties plumber- type guy. I do, atleast. It's human nature, I suppose. If I were to meet a Bob that was completely the opposite of what I had in mind, though, my idea of the name would change.
