Question Posted Thursday February 7 2008, 10:02 pm
I babysit 3 kids sometimes. The mom loves me, im serious. She buys me things, etc. But, what can I do to get the kids to like me. There are 2 girls and a boy. The boy is 7 and really into the army. The next oldest is a 4 year old. And the baby is 2, and boy does she act like a baby. If you tell her dont do something, like dont touch the lamp, she smile and pretend to touch it. Its funny, but after a while.... So, i am accepting any advice.
Thank you!

With the four year old, take her outside; kids love that. With the two year old, leave her be. She'll come to you in time. Try taking them out to a Chuckie Cheese or a John's Incredible Pizza for a hang out night. Continue to be there for the kids and they will like you in time. Good luck! Hope I helped! Play a board game or another age appropriate game with the 4 year old such as hide and seek.
The two year old, you can find a toy and show her all the different things it can do or create imaginary things. Such as a ball, show her how you can spin it on the ground or how to toss it. Be creative.
Your best bet to get the kids to like you is to have fun and play with them. They'll associate you with being fun every time you are around them. [ ChevyIINova's advice column | Ask ChevyIINova A Question ]
