i agree with nova- texas a&m is a good college and it's rarely ever actually cold there. basically any texas university is never going to be cold- university of texas at austin, baylor university, texas tech, etc. you might want to look into other colleges in the deep south, like in alabama or mississippi.

I live in Orlando, FL.
I'm the complete opposite of you. I love winter and hate the summer. :)
Summers get pretty hot, with the added humidity, but the beach is just a 45 minute drive. Winters are pretty warm, there were only about two days that it got below 50 in the early morning.

UCF and Rollins are in Orlando. Rollins is a private college, though, but right in the middle of downtown Winter Park, which is the classiest part. There's Park Avenue basically right across the street, which is fantastic for shopping, and there are a bunch of little cafes. Then there's a huge park adjacent to it.

There's UF up in Gainesville.
Then FSU in Tallahassee.

I hope I helped. :)

Texas A&M. Need I say more? We have mild winters here. Heck, it was 80 something the other day. It rarely gets below freezing and so far this year we've not had any snow or freezing rain in my area. Tonight it's 38f and tomorrow is going to be 70f. As far as Texas A&M goes, I went there. It's not a bad public university.
