What do you do about a cut on the tounge?

If it's just a small cut - nothing. The good thing about cuts in the mouth is they heal quite quick.
If it's painful, you can put on some numbing gel, like Bonjela.
Or you could swill your mouth out with warm salty water to prevent infection and rid bacteria.
If it's gushing with blood however, you'll need to go to hospital.

Well, if it won't stop bleeding, you may need stitches. If it's healing and just bugging you, go to a drugstore and get a product called Oral-B Amosan. It's an oral wound cleanser and will help you heal.
