Semi-Permanent

Question Posted Thursday February 7 2008, 1:36 pm

I just put a semi-permanent color in my hair and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to fade out. Does anyone know if it will completely fade back to my natural color or will it just be a lighter shade of what I put in?

It depends on your natural hair. Dark hair it will wash out completely. Blonde hair; it'll have a tint of that color for quite a long time (i.e. light pink for a red dye, golden brown for a mahogany brown).

I've heard that dish soap and clarifying shampoo (I've actually used the latter) will remove dye faster.

When I did it, it faded to a very light color mixed with my natural color. so depending on what color you use.
