I have NO idea how to insert a tampon. I read the instructions so many times and have tried. But it hurts really bad I CANT insert it. I feel like I have a flab of skin inside my vagina blocking the entrance. cause ill spread my vagina and look in a mirror and it looks like its blocking it. maybe my body isnt tampon-usable. helppp.
laynemayhem answered Wednesday February 6 2008, 9:44 pm: that's probably your hymen. its an elastic-like piece of skin that can be easily broken during intercourse, periods, (putting tampons in), fingering, masterbation, etc. another name for it is the "cherry"...
i dont know if you are inserting the tampon in the right place or not...this might be the issue, it might not be. but yeah.

Make sure you're inserting the tampon in the correct place. This is a good site: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
It gives you graphics and it explains in detail how exactly to insert it.
