cuz i straighten mine but they don't get that fringe-y look no matter what kind of product i put in
also should i put the product in when my hair is wet or dry?

You straighten them, then fill them full of hairspray and then tease them.

What you do is, your straighten them, then apply hairspray to them ,and "tease" them with a comb.
