in college can you still subscribe to magazines? do you get your own mailbox? how does that all work?

Yes you can. I just sent a magazine subscription to my cousin in college.
You get your own mailbox, usually a P.O. box does the trick too.

Oh yes. You get your own mailbox on campus. I'm not sure about other colleges (If you wanted, you could research the one you're going to), but at my college all the mailboxes are at the front desk of the dorm. You can open your mailbox with your room key.

When you get all your housing information, they will give you your new address that you can send to your magazine subscriptions.
