Question Posted Saturday February 2 2008, 1:53 am

Ok well i'm 17/M and my girlfriend would like me to shave "down there"

I was just wondering what was the best way to do this? Like shaving the testicles and the penis and everything. And what are good shaving cremes and razors to use also. thanks a lot

I suggest that you use a fresh razor, you're actually more likely to cut yourself with an older razor, go light on the shaving cream (really any you have will work) and always shave WITH the grain of the hair. If you shave against the growth of the hair you'll likely get ingrown hairs. Shaving this area will probably be very itchy for quite some time so don't be surprised if for the first several times you shave it grows back and is itchy in the process. If you do nick anything that is a very a visceral area so it will probably bleed for longer than if you'd of nicked an appendage, do not worry about it and be sure to clean the cut so that it doesn't get infected.

Just from my personal shaving experience I would say the more blades the better. I can't recall the names right now but there are brands with 3 or 4 blades and those do seem to work fairly well. I'd stay away from disposables as I tend to cut myself more with those.

Happy Shaving!
