Slowness

Question Posted Friday February 1 2008, 7:25 pm

People say that I'm a little "slow on the uptake", and I was wondering, is that a bad thing, or is it not that big of a deal?

No way! It is a-okay to be a little slow on the uptake because everyone is at some point. Don't let the people get you down! ;)

hmm? it depends on the person.
personally, i don't think it's a bad thing. i think it's really cute && funny, especially on a girl. but guys like it on a girl too, it makes them appear like a sort of damsel-in-distress thing because you don't know much. but like, other people might find it very annoying. i think it's cool. my best friend is a total blonde and i think it's SO funny. some people even try to pretend they're slow so people can think they're funny && cute. so i don't think it's a bad thing, but some people might really not like it, but i've never met anyone who hates the slow type.

It's not necessarily a bad or good thing. Just because you're slow on the uptake doesn't mean you're stupid. But at the same time, even if you don't really understand what people are talking about, don't be like "WHAT??? I DON'T GET IT!" or stand there will your mouth open and a confused look on your face. you know?
