Frostbite Hey,
I live in manitoba, in canada, and its freezing here right now. Last week I was outside without a hat on and my ear got really red, and hurt alittle, but it stopped hurting after about twenty minutes. I was alittle worried about frostbite, so I started wearing my hat. Today it was super cold (-45C, I dont know what that is in F sorry :P) and I think that even though I was wearing my hat, I got frostbite. Last time the soreness went away right away, but its been about nine hours since I went out and it still hurts when I touch it. I know its not severe, but is there anything I should be doing to treat it, or will it heal itself?
Thanks for the help!

gradually warm it ]
try getting is warmer,
frosbite is dangerous so if it does not go away please have it checked.
and stay warm ]
You can put neosporin on it, which will numb the pain and hopefully make it feel better. I would take some advil or asprin if it hurts alot. If it doesn't get better in a few days time, go see a doctor. ]
I would just stay out of the cold weather until it is healed- because you can't do anything else.
Brr! That IS cold! ]
At this point there's nothing you can do. It will heal itself. Try not to go out in the cold for a while. ]
