18/f
majorly overweight
sadly, considered obese
i'm 5'5" and weigh 203 pounds...
yea, it makes me real sad when i see that
things is, i don't really look all that fat
but it is there =(
does anyone know of how i can fix this problem?
like steps to take to becoming healthier
and more fit/tone like all over?
always stretch at least 10 minutes before you workout, and I suggest running on a treadmill for an hour not walking, RUNNING after you finish working out you should stretch another 10 minutes, and then drink some, crunches and push ups should be done straight after you run and then stretch. Start walking at night, and eat smaller portions. Stay away from chips, cookies and candy. The sugars in apples bananas and oranges are good for you, and will give you energy. Teadmills are good and eliptical machines are great for burning calories. Start small. You can move mountains, but you can only move one rock at a time. Good luck...losing weight is very hard, but watching the transformation is amazing. [ nmggrant's advice column | Ask nmggrant A Question ]
TheAnnie answered Monday January 28 2008, 11:19 am: start by eating healthier, this way when you excersize, the healthy eatin gwill help. Also i just learned form my class that if you are interessted in keeping a healthy weight, you have to loose 600 calories a day. Don't get discouraged by this number because its easily an hour walk.
Now, when you start to loose weight, don't even think about fad diets and pills becuase they can seriously hurt you.
when you start, you won't see much results but thats because you will be loosing the fat that surrounds your lungs and heart, because they are more crutial to your body. then after some time you will start to se major weight loss.
cox3milner answered Monday January 28 2008, 8:07 am: try walking for fifteen-thirty mintues daily, or jogging. you don't need to run- just as long as your body is getting more exercise. and maybe do about twenty situps daily, they greatly help.
foodhabits: no drinking pop, it's horrible for you, try cutting out less junkfoods like chips and sweets. not entirely but cutback some. other than that- it should tone you up just fine. :) good luck dear. [ cox3milner's advice column | Ask cox3milner A Question ]
