Can someone give me a diet that I can lose a couple of lbs. off of? Maybe to 135ish. I don't want like a you can lose 15 lbs in a week. Just something that can slowly give off lbs. I play basketball, so I have a lot of muscle, but I would like to try to get rid of that little fat I have. Mainly around my stomach and hips. Its not like "wow she need to lose weight". Its just to me, its "ugly". && Some of my weight also comes from my boobs. (their a D) Now I wear a size 6-7 in jeans, and would like to be maybe a 5.
Anything you guys can say will be tons of help =D
((&& I don't care for my BMI, that thing doesn't take in the fact that muscle weighs more then fat && you put my BMI I will rate lower))
Additional info, added Saturday January 26 2008, 5:22 pm: oh, I'm a VERY picky eater, so try maybe naming things that are very good. If not foods, then maybe little exercises I could do in my house since its cold out. I do crunches, and side crunches, and push ups, but anything else to lose weigh, not for your muscle like that things I'm doing.. Thanks Again!. -calories
-grams of fat
-grams of saturated fat
-grams of sugar
You should also try to watch your sodium intake for health reasons, but it doesn't affect your weight loss too much. First of all, make sure you drink plenty of water. It helps in hydration and can actually help you to lose weight or at least maintain your weight. Avoid wasted calories such as sodas and other sugary drinks. Try not to take in too much saturated fat. There's good fats and bad fats. Saturated and Trans fats are the bad fats. Mono and Poly saturated fats are good for you. Sugar is also not good for you. It's stored as fat in your body. If you want something that has good flavor but isn't water, try 100% fruit juices with no sugar added. Give yourself a calorie limit also. It depends on your height, so you can google it.
There's also a bunch of exercises that should help.
Keep yourself motivated. You don't have to feel hungry on a diet. You just have to watch what you're eating.
