i have been exercsing for a couple of days now and my legs have been hurting. can you recommend something for muscle pain preferably something that i can put in the bath- thank you
one other thing...
when you workout, it takes a whole day for your muslces to repair them selves(when you excersize you are tearing muslces and they need time to heal). so when you excersize, don't excersize the next day!! let your muslces get betetr otherwise they wil always hurt!! If you haven't worked out in awhile, or you don't regularly work out, your muscles are gonna hurt. It's a good thing, it means you're working your muscles. The trick is to give them time to rest.
But, you HAVE to stretch after you work out. Look up a bunch of stretches on line - stretch your calves, your hamstrings, your quads, your glutes, your arms, your back, your abs, your neck, and anything you can find, but be gentle with your body. Do what feels good, listen to your muscles.
If you can't bend your legs, or you pulled a muscle, hot water and Epsom salt. If there's swelling, ice it on and off for fifteen minutes at a time.
If you're hurting, lighten up a little. Take a day or two off.
Good luck!

You might want to try some gentle stretching of your leg muscles. What you're feeling is normal, if you haven't exercised in a while, your muscles will hurt a bit; but that will go away. Stretching before and after exercise will help to keep soreness at a minimum. Just remember, stretching should not hurt. Do a bit every day, in a short while, you will be able to stretch and work out comfortably. [ cookie8888's advice column | Ask cookie8888 A Question ]
