Question Posted Wednesday January 23 2008, 6:38 pm
hey i just turned 16 and I have never kissed a guy or hooked up, had a boyfriend or anything. I hang out with a few guys, but there is one guy that i want to hang out with but he is always busy and i really dont think he likes me. I feel like i am the only one who has never even been asked out before at this age. I'm a really outgoing person and i guess im pretty attractive too. Any advice as to why I have gotten no where?
orphans answered Wednesday January 23 2008, 7:06 pm: Yeah, I am 15 and I have dated one guy, and not for very long, it was just a fling thing, and trust me, you are not the only one who hasn't gone out at your age, I have friends who are 18 and they haven't dated, or kissed a guy in their lives, so don't worry, it's not just you.
And you haven't gotten "no where" because you haven't made the effort to hang out with the guys. Call them to hang out, they like that, a girl taking charge and everything, and i'm sure if you put yourself out there, you'll get a lot of takers.
I didn't date someone until this year, and I'm in highschool, I didn't rush it and the only reason your not getting anywhere is because you're not rushing it and you are taking it slow. Other gurls will quickly get with a guy and then dump them, trying to seta record [slut] but the guys are gonna be looking at you very soon because your a good girl they can bring home ot their moms :] Trust me, just put yourself out there a little bit more, in the end you'll be thankful you did and you're not getting no where, just going at a slower pace which is fine :] totally fine.
