This opens up your pores and allows your skin to absorb the UV rays better. Also, remember when you are in a tanning bed, to continually turn so you get an even tan. If you are in the bed for 8 mins, you would lay on your stomach for 2, your back for 2, and each side for 2 mins each. My suggestion would be to get a good tanning lotion from the tanning salon. They are very well informed about the products they sale because it is a speciality item. Most people that go in there have a unique way that need to tan, because not everyone's skin type is the same. They may have sample sizes that you can try and it will cost very little. Good Luck!! Check out this site, they have great tanning lotions but are rather expensive: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
I would suggest however not to buy a tanning lotion with bronzer in it, it will only make you appear orange.
Good luck and I'd really appreciate it if you rate my advice. Thank you.
