Now, with STD's they really can't kill you (except for AIDS/HIV (which can lead to AIDS), unless you don't get treated. I would suggest getting to the doctor and having a pap done so you can find any abnormalities.
Also, I hate to sound like the "mother" here, but if you are going to have sex, the best way to prevent pregnancy and STDs is practicing safe sex. There are very creative ways to make the sex just as good with a condom. If you have fears that a condom will break, you could always get on birth control, which is proven to be 99.9% effective. I would never say abstinence, because come'on sex feels way to good to do that. If you are going to have sex, be mature enough to have responsible sex. Good Luck!!
