Running problem?

Question Posted Monday January 21 2008, 1:44 pm

Ok, so I've been trying to lose some weight lately by running. But whenever I run, my legs get really itchy :/ I don't know what is causing it or what will make it stop. Is this normal? If it is, is there anything I can do to make it go away? Please help, it's really annoying and discourages me to go out running. thanks!

when its cold and i run outside in jeans or even the sweatpants that cling to your skin, my skin gets really icthy and red. i found it better to wear those sweatpant that are like cotton, they are so much softer. Also making sure you legs are shaved and have lotion on makes it much better.

Maybe your legs are dry. Do you run outside? The cold air drys skin and then it can get itchy. For that, try lotion, after you shower/bath, before you sleep, anuytime. Or it can be the material. If you run is a certian kind of pants or shorts that irritate your skin, try some new running gear. Hope this helped
