And if you are not over him then in the back of your mind you still want to be with him. Even though you might like your current boyfriend it seems like you are in love with your ex boyfriend. IF you are thinking about another man then you really shouldn't do that to another person. Your current boyfriend will understand but you need write the pros and cons of each man to see who is the better one to be with. If you get that answer ask yourself if you really want to be with that person. Whoever you don't choose you can always be friends with and make them understand you put alot of thought into it. You're with Mike, and you obviously like him.
So I'd not do anything. Stay friends with your ex if you want to (there's no reason why you have to break up and become enemies).

Stay with the guy who makes you happy and won't treat you like a piece of meat.
You and your ex will always have a special place in eachothers hearts but maybe you should try staying together with Mike for a while to see if you like him better and if Mike makes you forget about your ex, than stick with Mike, because he obviously fills your life and makes you happy.
