They generally do blood testing for HIV/AIDS.
They will possibly do a pap/pelvic exam and also test the cell scrapings, as well as a swab.

While at the clinic, ask if they offer free condoms. It is in your best interests to always practice safe sex.
This worry is exactly why.

Odds are that it is an STD, but by getting tested you can find out what it may be. If you're eager you can simply 'google' STD's and do your own research to best educate yourself about the sexually transmitted diseases.

Something important to think about; if you have infact recieved an STD, you should not be the only one getting tested. You are sexually active with your boyfriend, therefor he should be tested as well. He may not have the visual symptoms, but he could be a carrier, or maybe not.

It always helps to be as safe and precautious as you can be. Ways such as using a condom, or refraining from oral sex.

I hope I was of some help.
