Everybody's body interprets fat differently, which includes the storage of it in more places than others, and burning it in some places faster than others. Some could run for a month everyday, and burn fat in their legs but they might not see a reduction in their stomach area as fast as others. It all depends, but to answer your question, running will reduce the body fat on your stomach. The time will differ from others, but it will happen eventually if you continue to follow through it. Eating is a huge part in burning fat though, as youu must eat well AND run if you plan to lose body fat effeciently. Running is a form of cardiovascular exercise, which is a great fat burner. It gets your body sweating, your body breathing hard, and causes your fat to burn. Some other great forms are kickboxing and boxing, which really get your body breathing heavily. If you can purchase one, a heavy bag would be a good investment in burning fat. If you want to do it most effeciently though I would suggest running to burn your body fat best. You can always start somthing simple such as a nice, easy jog for a mile, and thhen begin to work your way up to faster speeds and greater distances as your body begins to get into shape. To sum it up for you, running WILL burn body fat in your stomach region, so if you stick to it, you can do it :) Wish you lots of luck!
