you can get different levels of tint from the factory. everything from like a 25% light tint or what they often call privacy glass which is 5%.

Just because a car has "factory tints" doesn't mean they conform with the laws of every state in the country in regards to window tinting.
It's the same answer as yesterday, Google in whatever car you want to look at, get its specs and compare them to the laws for window tinting in your state.

Well, it depends on what car you are referring.
Factory tints look really nice, though that doesn't help. If nothing else, factory tint won't get you a ticket for being too dark.
