whats the point of getting your hair trimmed at the salon? how much does it cost? and does it constitute as a haircut? no, right?

1. It keeps your hair in better shape and gets rid of split/dead ends.
2. It's good if you're growing your hair because it shocks the hair into growing more.
Trims aren't expensive and it's best you go to a hairdresser because if you do it yourself and it goes wrong...well.. you know the rest.

Getting your hair trimmed makes your hair healthier and gets rid of split ends. It can be considered a hair cut because you did get your hair cut so yeah...even though people might not notice a change and whatnott. And for the price, it depends on what hair salon you go to, but it's usually not that much.

the whole point of getting your hair trimmed is to get the split ends and dead hair out. trimming is done so that your hair is pretty mush the same length, while getting it cut is changing the length.
most salons charge $10, price differs if you get it styled. of corse you can cut it yourself! many people do, you just have to be careful and have someone help you the first time.
