I want to change my settings on Facebook so that it's not my full name, just my first name and the first letter or my last name or something so that it only says "Jess R". I know it can be done, but I tried doing it by going to 'account' and changing it, but it said it needs to be a full name. I hear you can go to the privacy settings and change it, but I tried that and I'm not really sure what to do. Anyone know how to change it to just your first name and last initial? It would be greatly appreciated. =)

I've done it where it says that you must have a last name. The people will usually just approve of it, at least they did for me.
I had changed mine from my full name to Kate C, back to my full name. I think it's smart of you to only want your last initial. Giving out your full name online can be very dangerous.
