gym time usually on average when do you start really seeing a difference in body physique if you start going to the gym and strength training... i am pear-shaped and my abs are muscled (urghhh but u can see it under that layer of fat) my problem area is my butt and thighs (if you're comfortable visualizing it in terms of sizes my upper body is the size of a size two woman and my lower body is size 13/14) i just started to go to the gym with a trainer how long should it take for me to start SEEING the changes...i really want to tone up (i don't mind the proportions that much but i'd like to get down to a size 0 at the top and maybe 6 ir 8 at the bottom and see n feel muscles)
oh if it helps i'm 155 and my goal is 120.... i am assuming if i get to 145 i'd see the change but my trainer says that the scale isn't a decent way of telling coz muscles weigh more.... :S

Your trainer is right. I would go as far as to not really set yourself goals in pounds.
As for how long it will take, with proper diet and regular exercise I would say about a month. ]
it really depends on how your eating if your eating rite then it shouldnt be long and in like a week im sure ur gona loose a couple of pounds it doesnt take that long if u doing the rite stuff and at this young it takes only a couple of months! ]
