runforit0803 answered Wednesday January 9 2008, 4:21 pm: It's really quick and depending on the quality of the place you're getting it done at...it shouldn't hurt. I reccomend getting it done with a gun and when you get it don't forget to twist them three times a day for a while! [ runforit0803's advice column | Ask runforit0803 A Question ]
Amazing_April answered Wednesday January 9 2008, 4:11 pm: Well there are 3 ways to get it done. If you pierce them yourself with a needle or safety pi...ect it hurts about a 9 on a scale of 10. If you perce them yourself like I did(stupid I know) you pierce slower and can feel it go through. not to mention the chance of them getting infected. Getting them done professionaly with a gun doesn't hurt that bad but there is a good chance of them getting infected. Gettiing them done professionaly with a needle hurts about a 5. They can be properly sterilized so there is a low chance for infection. [ Amazing_April's advice column | Ask Amazing_April A Question ]
