It's hard to say. What can feel like a pin prick to me could feel like a massive jab to you. Vice versa.
I suggest you go with the needle over the gun though (All reputable piercing studios don't use guns. I'm not talking about Claire's etc because that is not a piercing studio..)
Guns FORCE the earring into your ear causing it to RIP through your skin making unnecessary damage.
Needles have the best placement and won't cause further damage - you can also be sure they're 100% sterilized, too. :) ]
It feels like a pinch if you go out and get it done by a piercing gun. it's so quick. if you get it done with a needle, it's going to hurt. i've gotten 8 ear piercings [including cartilage] from a gun and no infection. ]
It's really quick and depending on the quality of the place you're getting it done at...it shouldn't hurt. I reccomend getting it done with a gun and when you get it don't forget to twist them three times a day for a while! ]
Well there are 3 ways to get it done. If you pierce them yourself with a needle or safety pi...ect it hurts about a 9 on a scale of 10. If you perce them yourself like I did(stupid I know) you pierce slower and can feel it go through. not to mention the chance of them getting infected. Getting them done professionaly with a gun doesn't hurt that bad but there is a good chance of them getting infected. Gettiing them done professionaly with a needle hurts about a 5. They can be properly sterilized so there is a low chance for infection. ]
