Ripped skirt... I have a new skirt that I love dearly. It's a sort of pencil skirt with a slit in the back. I was getting out of my car and I suppose I bent a strange way and the slit tore a lot farther up than it's supposed to be...
Just curious, is this fixable - I can't sew, but if I brought it somewhere would they fix it for me? Any ideas where I could go and the price. It's a black skirt and I got it at Maurices...
We have a Hancock's fabric about 20 minutes away but I don't know if they fix things or if they just sell fabric... any ideas?

well, first, Hancock's Fabric does not do repairs or alterations or anything like that.
they just sell sewing necessities.
but you could just take it to a seamtress.
it sounds fixable to me.
if you don't have one around you,
you could also take it to the dry cleaners and see if they would do it, more then likely they could
or you could ask them if they know of a good one maybe in the next city over or something that you could take it to. :] ]
I would take it to a dry cleaner. Most of them will do alterations/repairs. ]
