I think I have it , because i frquently have to go to the restroom , and sometimes what comes out isint even worth going to the bathroom for but it feels like im about to bust or pee in my pants . Im always having to ask to go to the rest room in every class & thats only 50 mins each .
i didnt want to go to the doctor [ at first ] because i thought my parents would be able to find out that iv had sex . because that could be a reason why i might have one .
So if yall would please , can any of yall tell me what they do when you go ?
If your doctor diagnoses you with a UTI or even a kidney infection, you will be given these little antibiotic pills to take. Don't be alarmed when you notice your pee is bright orange.
You will probably want to wear a panty liner, because that bright orange can stain your clothes.
They will also recommend you drink lots of water, and most likely will advise you to drink 100% cranberry juice as well.
As said before me, there are many causes for a UTI, and sex is only one of them. However, your doctor is a person you need to be completely honest with, so you should tell them that you are sexually active- they can't tell your parents.
Keosha answered Monday January 7 2008, 10:20 pm: If you have a UTI you will have one or more of the following symptoms: Burning/Itching in the vaginal area, Burning sensation while you pee, Constant urge to urinate even if only for a split second, Pain while urinating and possible pain in the lower abdomen/stomach. (And possibly more..)
You can receive a UTI from many things aside from sex. Colored panties, Not wiping correctly, A vaginal infection reaching the urinary tract, It is less than a centimeter apart. ect.
When you go to a doctor to see if you are diagnosed with a UTI (very common in women) all they do is take a sample of your urine. Ask about your symptoms and test it for certain microscopic grades of bacteria that is related to UTI's.
You should be given pills to take for 3-7 days to clear up the infection and you should drink plenty of water. Also Apple cider vinegar possibly mixed in with some tea definately helps to get rid of the pain and you should go to an organic Health store and get D-Mannose. It is a vitamin that adheres to the bacteria in the lining of the bladder and prevents it from growing more while getting rid of the painful symptoms of a UTI. You will feel better immediately. Promise.
All of my answers to you are from expierence as a female. I get these about twice a year. Good luck and I hope that I helped.

karenR answered Monday January 7 2008, 8:11 pm: If it also burns when you pee its probably a UTI.
Regardless, it is something you need to check out.
There is no pelvic exam involved in getting a diagnosis. You go in explain symptoms to the
doctor, pee in a cup and thats it.
Since girls can have a broken hymen from many
things besides sex, a doctor wouldn't know for
sure you were sexually active, unless you told
him. If you told him, it is not something he
would tell your mother. Doctors have patient
confidentiality just SO you aren't afraid to
speak freely with them about things that could
concern your health. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
