excessive sweating!

Question Posted Monday January 7 2008, 2:04 pm

14/f

I've been sweating under my arms since July. It won't stop. And I don't even have to be hot or nervous. It's embarressing and all I wear is hoodies and it's going to look a little bit odd in the summertime. It's getting pretty ridiculous and I don't know how to stop it. I've tried everything. Certain Dri, Secret Clinical Strength. Nothing will make it go away so it seems. My mom agreed to take me to the doctor and see what he says about it but I don't think that will be anytime soon.

Has anyone had this problem and found a way to cure it? Please..

Have you tried degree for women? That really helps me. Also my friend use to sweat a lot and no deoderant worked on her but I told her to use Degree and she loves it! I hope it works for you!

You probably have and will be diagnosed with Hyperhydrosis.
Usually it is the armpits, hands and feet.
Go and see the doctor and don't be embarrassed.
I have a couple of friends who have it.

I have the exact same problem!! A couple of things i have noticed. For me, Secret was the worst deoderant i have ever had. the smell doesn't last. Dove had the same problem.Adidas was better but wasn't good enough.Right now i'm using Ban. For me it works great.I still sweat and all, but the odor isn't strong. The fact is,
there is no way to stop sweating, unless you get botox or some kind of surgery.
everyone experiences this weather or not they tell anyone, some are worse than others. It's just one of those things that we're just going to have to suck it up and live with it. Pity. lol

Doctors can presecribe stronger deoderant as well as do botox injections into sweat glands or something like that. Go here:
only search advicenators.com

and see if any might work for you. With products like Certain Dri, you can easily use too much & cencel out the effects the product will have. So, make sure you're using the right amount. Also, try different formulations of the same brand [ie: gel deoderant may not work for you when a soft solid will keep you from sweating at all]. good luck.
