First, for the last 2 months, I have been sick. I have been tender to the touch all over my body, and having muscle spasms. Does anyone know what this could be? Or someone that this has happened to as well?
Also, I have no insurance, and it's getting harder for me to get medical care. Does anyone know of free/low cost medical programs that are available? DHS is not an option, tried that already. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Of course, you should go to the doctor- it has been 2 months and your sickness hasn't gone away.
The question is how to do it?
If it were me, I would go to the doctor of my choice. The one who knows me, preferably.
Let them know that you have no insurance, and no means of paying the bill all at once. They should be willing to work out a payment arrangement with you that is affordable.
What about prescription medication?
Let your doctor know at your appointment that you are uninsured and can't afford high priced medications.
Some medications, such as antibiotics, they have on hand in free sample packages. They may be able to give you samples so you don't have to spend the money on medicine.
If they don't have it on hand, they will write you a prescription for something affordable. Some antibiotics cost as low as $10-$15 for a full prescription.
Don't let yourself be sick because you can't afford to be well. Sometimes doing that causes folks to overlook life-threatening illnesses.
