Detox Foot Pads

Question Posted Saturday January 5 2008, 7:17 pm

You know those detox foot pads that like remove toxins from your feet? Well, is there a brand that I could get a store, like CVS or somewhere like that? I really want some, but I don't like to order stuff from 800 numbers. Thanks.

There are no holistic medical benefits from "detoxing your feet" and the first responder whom you gave a 2 because they didnt tell you what you wanted to hear was correct.

Sure, a pad can be designed that helps unclog any pores you might have on the bottom of your feet and to get dirt and dust and such. You will have clean feet.

Clean feet are not worth a 30 dollar price tag and the continuation of medical myth. You cant find "feet detox pads" at CVS because they dont actually have a recognized medical benefit.

What the person said below me is not true. There not miracle workers like infomericals say but they do detox to a certain point. I used them and the pad would be white before I went to bed and brown when I woke up (and a sticky foot, btw). It's known that toxins make there way down to your feet when you sleep, so it could be plausible that this could work. I ordered mine from Avon, I havent seen them in stores.

Those are only sold on 800 numbers because it's a scam. I know it sounds really cool but your body doesn't work like that, if anything bringing toxins through the skin from your bloodstream, if it were possible, would be harmful to your body. Don't waste your money on things like that, if you want to rid your body of toxins do colonics or something of that sort.

hope i helped =]
