how long can you keep cupcakes?

If I make cupcakes with icing how long can i keep them for? I don't even have a clue when would I have to throw them out, no expire date in mind at all =/

I leave them on the counter like how bakeries due, there's no room in the fridge for them..

If you can't put them in the fridge, put them in an air tight container and consume within around 3 days.
Just to point out.. if you make them and put them in the freezer, you can keep them in there longer. Then when you take them out and they've thawed out, decorate them with the icing.

Usually about three days. It would be a good idea to cover them in foil or plastic wrap. After about three days they would start to get dry.
