What is the typical side that you get a cartilage piercing on?

i've mostly seen them on the left, so i got mine on the right.
the whole thing about gay/straight doesnt even apply really, that was mainly for guys and it was way back when.

I have mine on the left :)
Most piercers choose the left side if you are right handed so you don't push phones and so on against it.
Also it's easier to change rings if it's on your left side and your right handed.

It doesn't matter but the piercer did it on my left cartilage, so I'm guessing that's the typical side. (:

There isn't a more popular side. It's what looks better on you personally. If I got a top cartilage piercing, I'd go for my right ear, because I already have a tragus piercing on the left. Everyone's different. See which side you prefer on yourself. :)

either side is fine, i have one on the left side, but some people take them into different accounts.
its said that if your straight you get it on the left and if your gay then you get it on the right but i dont think it makes that much of a difference.
