A card is special because you can show how you feel in writing and it can be read over and over again, while the gift may be used, forgotten, worn out, eaten, broken...etc. The card can always be saved and cherished, as well as the thoughts and feelings you had while giving the gift.

Yea cards are great ! They express more than a gift I wouldn't mind getting a card I'd rather receive that than something bought and turning out not being what I wanted ya know? I'd get the funny ones though =)

Hope I helped

Yeah. They're funny/sweet/sentimental, and very inexpensive. And by giving a card you give the person another thing to open.
