Because the person is a Apple Fanboy, which is one of the lowest scums on this planet, but then again any fanboy of anything is. Graphics are generally better on PC's, macs are NOT built for gaming if that what you were questioning for. And I do not have an answer for your third question. Macs start out more organized, but you can mess them up the same as on a PC. You can create folders as before.
You don't need a Mac for any design work. Everything you can do on a Mac you can do on a PC, but not the other way around. There is less software for a Mac than a PC.
No one uses iWork. It is not fully compatible with MS Office, and it's not worth the money.
You can only run XP on a Mac if you buy an XP license - $120. You would be better of just buying a PC.

They swear by this. There's no error messages like there is with a PC. It's all more user friendly and things are organized for you so you can find them with one click. Goodbye folders.
Also you need a MacIntosh if you are doing Web design, page design, photo shop or creative projects or recording your own music or making your own movies.
Another thing I like is that the Macintosh has built in dictionary, calendar/organizer and guess what it's plug and play! You just plug it in as it's all one unit and it picks up your Internet connection automatically as well as printer.
The word processor is better than WORD and is $89.00 compared to $300-500 for one that works with Windows.
A lot of people are not happy with Vista at all and are downgrading to XP. You should read the articles about Leopard it's amazing.
This brings me to my next point you can run both Windows and Macintosh Leopard or OSX on a Mac and toggle between the two.
