thelaura answered Thursday December 20 2007, 3:47 pm: I just researched this "labour day fashion rule" and pft is what I have to say to that. Wear what you want and when you want. I doubt anyone really follows it now anyway. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
uisforukelele answered Thursday December 20 2007, 3:17 pm: generally, you're not supposed to wear white after labor day, and then you can wear it after easter. however, i only do that with white shoes... i still wear white shirts and stuff. white is more of a summer color, especially in pants, which is why that rule exists. wear what you want, but personally i would save it for april or may.
