I have an issue with popularity and what others think of me. I seriously can't stop thinking about it, and basing everything I do around it. I miss when I could just be myself and do whatever! How can I get over this!?
15/f by the way.

I believe everyone goes through that stage at least one point in their lifetime. You see, people are going to judge you for the simplest things, we all know. But you just have to remember that being yourself is the best thing you can be. Living up to saomeone's opinions aren't going to make things better. Yes, I also miss when I could just be myself and do whatever!...uggh, life sucks sometimes, but it all depends on the way you live and the choices you make in life.

my favorite motto is easier said than done because it is soo true.
well lets see, there is no real problem getting noticed but i would suggest that if you are being your self it wont matter but if you are lieing just to be this way that could be bad. the thing i would try is not going to a social event and just relaxing at homw once in a while. you dont need to go to everything. im sure you will have friends if you didnt go to the next dance. keep trying and try holding yourself back when you are in this situation again.
