how do people like save a video from youtube or something to their computer?
like how they make clips of different videos into one video? how do they do that? i only have windows movie maker so yeah can i use that?

Next, I'd recommend using Firefox and install the "Video Downloader" add-on, this will make getting the video saved easier or else you can point your browser in firefox to about:cache and then search for the flv extension or by viewing your cache in Internet Exploder err I mean Explorer and searching for the FLV extension, either way you'll still need that FLV player. To answer your second question if you have mixed file extensions say you have a FLV and a mpeg but you want to combine those two and make one extension. You'll need a FLV to MPEG converter. Once you get all your files to have the same extension, then go ahead and use the WIndows Movie Maker.
