So basically I am not one to curse. I've hardly ever done it and only a few people have ever heard me. Sometimes I get made fun of for it, good-natured fun though. I don't mind when other people cuss but I just don't like doing it myself. Well I have recently had to catch myself multiple times. It would be easy for me to let it out, but I'm afraid to because I think whoever it was directed towards would be extremely hurt because it is coming from me, who "never cusses" lol. Its confusing, but if you understand slightly what I mean, could you give me some advice here? thanks

As long as you use swear words sparingly you are fine and nobody will think any less of you. If you use them all the time or every second word then we have a problem.
Cursing sometimes if you get hurt, are frustrated, in a fight or when no other word will do is fine. Not cursing left and right is admirable as most teens need their language cleaned up as do adults. If you get made fun of for not cursing consider it a badge of honor and look at the source of the taunts.

but dont worry about catching your self before you say, it is in a way natural to say something like that but its good that you do
and thinking sbout others is a nice thing you are doing
