macbook ichat

hey :) does anyone with a macbook know how to keep your ichat connected when your computer starts to sleep? bc i dont ever sign off but my ichat disconnects me and i want it to stay connected with my away mesg up! thx <3

It's not possible to be connected to the internet when the computer sleeps, but it is possible to change the sleep settings. If you click energy saver in the system preferences, you can make the computer not go to sleep. You can put the screen and hard drive to sleep to save battery but not the whole computer, so it can stay online.

That isn't possible. Internet capability is turned off when it sleeps. There is no way to change it.
