okay so i really like this guy and
he told a mutual friend that he really liked me
soo we've been emailing back a forth and i dont know where to go
i mean we look at each other but i think im to shy
what could i say to help us talk in person
and i mean every time i see him or hear about him
my face lights up
and i get soo distracted by him
but he's a big flirt so maybe he only told my
friend that b/c he just felt like it
im so shy i dont really know what to do or how to act.

You must be head over heels for this guy, and that's great, but you don't want to just have a "cyber relationship" with him. You need to work up the nerve to talk to him, go say "I got your e-mail and it was funny" or something to start a conversation and try to make it not so awkward. But don't do anything drastic like drool all over him, take it slow you need to get your relationship from the computer to everyday life. How about talking to him on the phone? Or asking him by e-mail or in person if he wants to see a movie with a group of people, so it would be more subtle. Take baby steps, not everything has to be rushed and being shy isn't bad, just make sure you don't seem like your ignoring him in school. If he told your friend that he likes you, he's probably not joking, and all guys are flirts (so are girls) you can't really help it sometimes. Don't be afraid to talk to him, I'm sure he will be as cool as he is on the computer if you talk to him in person.
