16/f
I, like most teenage girls, am addicted to the computer. But since I just turned 16 yesterday, I can't drive. Therefore, I can't get a job. (Both of my parents work full time so they can't drive me.)
I recently visted a site dealing with "Keystokes 4 Cash." You pretty much get money for typing stuff. I'm a VERY good typist. Does anyone know of any legitimate sites that I can type things for companies and they can pay me? And another thing. Is there any way for me to get a check that isn't send to my house? Like, could I get it sent online and then I could print it and bring it to the bank and cash it? Or not?

Whilst most people automatically scream out "SCAM", you can actually make money from them, but it IS difficult. The website makes it seem very easy. and you will NOT be making the amount of money they say you will.
Also, you have to pay a fee to join - that's not so good for people with money problems to begin with.
I've just researched many reviews on that particular website from people complaining they couldn't do it and wanted a refund... so don't fall for it right now, especially being only 16.. so try to make money else where. If you can't drive, does it mean you still can't have a job? Aren't there any local places? I know most small stores take on younger people if you have any near you.
If you think about it, there are plenty ways.
*Sell things. In real life or online (ebay for example)
*Ask around if anyone needs a babysitter
*Bake cakes etc and have a stall where people can buy them
*Take things you don't want anymore to a local boot fair if there are any
*Offer to cut neighbours grass and keep their gardens nice
*Walk peoples dogs
*Is it possible to help out around the house for a bit more extra cash?
Etc..
and to the second part of your question, no. You cannot take print outs. It has to be the real thing. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
